What websites & web development covers
Your website is often the first proper conversation a customer has with your business. It needs to load quickly on a phone, make it obvious what you offer and where you work, and make it easy to get in touch. Everything else, from the design to the technology underneath, should serve those jobs.
We cover the full range. Eligible businesses can apply for a free website with hosting included. Growing businesses can commission a professionally designed site built around their services and customers. Where a website needs to do more, such as customer accounts, complex forms, integrations or online sales, we build it as a proper piece of software.
Because we also do marketing, software and support, your website does not have to be thrown away when the business grows. We plan it so that booking, ecommerce, portals or automation can be added later without starting again.

Sound familiar?
No website, or an outdated one
Relying on Facebook or word of mouth makes it harder for new customers to find and trust you, and an old site can do more harm than good.
A site that does not generate enquiries
Pretty pages are not enough if visitors cannot quickly see what you do, where you work and how to contact you.
Slow, fragile or hard to update
Bloated page builders and abandoned plugins make sites slow, insecure and expensive to change.
Outgrowing a basic site
When you need bookings, payments, customer logins or integrations, a brochure site starts to hold the business back.

Process
How we work
- 01
Discovery
We learn how your business works, who your customers are and what the project needs to achieve. No jargon, no obligation.
- 02
Planning
We agree scope, priorities, content and timescales in writing, so you know exactly what is being built and what it costs.
- 03
Design
Layouts and interfaces are designed around your customers and your brand, then reviewed with you before development starts.
- 04
Development
We build with modern, maintainable technology, sharing progress as we go rather than disappearing for weeks.
- 05
Testing
Every form, payment, integration and page is tested across devices and browsers, including accessibility and performance checks.
- 06
Launch
We handle hosting, domains, SSL and redirects, and make sure search engines can find the new site or system properly.
- 07
Support
After launch you can keep us on for hosting, maintenance and improvements, or take it in-house. It is your choice.
FAQs
Common questions
More answers on our FAQ page, or ask us directly.
How do I know which website service I need?
If you need a straightforward professional presence and fit the free service, start with a free website. If you want a design shaped closely around your brand and goals, choose professional web design. If the site needs logins, databases, complex forms or integrations, that is custom web development. Not sure? Tell us what you want the website to do and we will recommend the right option honestly.
Do you publish prices for websites?
The free website is exactly that: £0 for the design, build, basic hosting and SSL. Paid website projects are quoted individually once we understand the scope, because a five-page brochure site and a database-driven platform are very different pieces of work. There is no obligation after a quote.
Will my website be found on Google?
Every site we build has sound technical SEO foundations. Rankings depend on competition, content and reputation as well, so nobody can honestly guarantee a position. If search visibility matters to you, our SEO and local SEO services build on those foundations.
Can you take over a website someone else built?
Usually, yes. We will review how it is built and hosted first, then explain whether maintaining it, improving it or rebuilding it makes the most sense.
