What managed websites involves
Free hosting keeps your website online. The Managed Website plan is for businesses who would rather we actively looked after it: checking it is working, keeping backups, maintaining the forms and making the small changes that come up, such as new opening hours, a replaced photo or an updated price.
The plan is priced individually, at a custom monthly fee confirmed before you subscribe. It is billed monthly in advance with no minimum contract term, and you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. If you stop, your website stays on free basic hosting.
To keep it fair and sustainable, content updates are occasional small changes on a reasonable-use basis appropriate to a small business website. Larger work, such as redesigns, new pages needing substantial work, ecommerce, booking systems or integrations, is quoted separately whether or not you are on the plan.
Problems we solve
Sound familiar?
No time to look after the website
Small changes pile up and the site gradually goes out of date.
Not knowing if the site is working
Forms can silently stop sending enquiries and nobody notices for weeks.
No backups
Without regular backups, a problem can mean losing content you cannot easily recreate.
Confusing domain and DNS settings
Connecting email providers or verification records is fiddly and easy to get wrong.

Testing
Every form, payment, integration and page is tested across devices and browsers, including accessibility and performance checks.

FAQs
Common questions
More answers on our FAQ page, or ask us directly.
How much does the Managed Website plan cost?
It is a custom monthly fee, confirmed to you before you subscribe. Get in touch and we will quote based on your website.
Do I need the Managed Website plan?
No. It is completely optional. Your free website and basic hosting continue whether or not you take it.
What counts as a small content change?
Minor updates such as changing text, updating opening hours, replacing a small number of images, updating contact information, adding a testimonial or adjusting service or price information. It does not include redesigns, substantial new pages, ecommerce, booking systems, custom functionality or integrations.
Does it include IT or email support?
No. The plan covers your website and its domain and DNS records. It is not general IT support or email hosting: mailboxes, PCs, printers, Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration, password resets and device support are not included.
Is there a guaranteed response time?
Not unless we have agreed one with you in writing. Plan customers receive priority website-related support.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and your website stays on free basic hosting.
