Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect information submitted through this website, our enquiry forms and related communications.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

1. Who we are

This policy explains how Logic NI ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit logicni.com, submit one of our forms or otherwise get in touch. We are the data controller for the information described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us:

  • Contact form: your name, business name (optional), email address, phone number (optional), the topic of your enquiry and your message.
  • Start a Project form (including free website applications): your name, business name, email address, and optionally your phone number, role and location; the services you're interested in; a description of your project; answers to project-specific questions; your existing website address; and, for paid work, an approximate budget and timescale.
  • Consent record: confirmation that you read this privacy notice, with the date and the version of the policy shown.
  • Later stages: if we go on to work together, we may collect further information needed for the project, such as business details, logos, photos, documents and domain information, and records of our communications.

When you submit a form we also record the page you submitted it from, the referring page and any campaign tags in the link you followed, your browser's user-agent string, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address. The hashed IP is used for rate limiting and abuse prevention; we do not store your raw IP address with your enquiry.

3. Cookies and technical information

This website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own website, so your browser does not contact a font provider. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability. We don't use these logs to identify individual visitors.

If spam protection is enabled on our forms, Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device to check that a submission is genuine, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

4. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and send you a confirmation of what you submitted.
  • To assess free website applications and decide whether we can take them on.
  • To prepare proposals and quotations, and to deliver work you ask us to do.
  • To manage our relationship with you, including records of enquiries, projects and communications.
  • To protect our forms and systems against spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To keep records for reasonable business, accounting and legal purposes.

5. Our lawful basis

  • Steps prior to a contract, and contract: responding to project enquiries, preparing quotes and delivering services.
  • Legitimate interests: answering general enquiries, keeping business records, and securing our website and forms, where this doesn't override your rights.
  • Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose information to comply with the law.
  • Consent: only where we specifically ask for it. We do not currently send marketing emails to enquirers.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We use the following service providers to run this website and our business:

  • Website hosting (Netlify): hosts this website and runs the server code that processes form submissions.
  • Cloud database (Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore): stores enquiries and records of our work with clients.
  • Email delivery (Microsoft 365): sends enquiry notifications to us and confirmation emails to you.
  • Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), if enabled.
  • Domain, DNS and content-delivery providers, where needed to provide services you ask for.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants, solicitors or insurers, where reasonably necessary.
  • Law enforcement, regulators or courts, where required by law.

When we deliver projects, we may use further providers (for example payment processors or email platforms); we'll tell you about these as part of the project.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

8. How long we keep information

  • Enquiries that don't lead to work: kept for up to 24 months in case you get back in touch, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Client and project records: kept while we work together and for up to 6 years afterwards for accounting and legal purposes.
  • Spam and abuse records: kept only as long as needed to protect our systems.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls, secure authentication for our administration system and hashed identifiers to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect what you give us.

10. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances;
  • ask us to restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive your information in a portable format, in certain circumstances;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise these rights, email hello@logicni.com. We'll respond within the time limits set by law.

11. Complaints

We'd appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

12. Children

Our services are for businesses and organisations. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy, for example if we add analytics or new providers; the version on this page applies, and material changes will be highlighted. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@logicni.com or through our contact page.
